Intro

Before I start going into all the many research studies that I have on fitness and weight lifting, I think that an introduction post is necessary. If for no other reason, I want to explain how everyone can expect the standard blog posts to go.

My love for empirical evidence and thoughtful consideration results in my desire to format these posts like the journal clubs that research labs have. I will briefly introduce the topic that the study will address. I will outline the relevant aspects of the study and when I think necessary I will try to explain anything that I do not think is common knowledge. Then, I will explain the results and what I think their implications are for specific exercises or training in general.

I invite and encourage discussion and comments. Do not hesitate to ask questions. Do not hesitate to give your thoughts, including any implications you can think of.
